Emerging Astronomers September – How small are we?
September 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Imagine this: if the Sun were shrunk to the size of a beachball, Earth would be no bigger than a peppercorn, rolling around 30 meters away. That’s how tiny our world really is compared to the universe!
This Monday, we’ll dive in the size of the universe. From the size of you and me, to planets, stars, galaxies, and the largest structures in the universe. Along the way, we’ll use fun comparisons and visuals to help you feel the immensity of space.
We are very small.
Smaller than you might think.
