The AAS intend to have volunteers at this event for public outreach.

If you would like to volunteer and help with the solar viewing using the Society’s solar telescope and 8″ Dobsonian fitted with a solar filter, or if you have your own solar viewing equipment, please let me know by Friday February 24th so that we can notify the organisers of the names of volunteers. Otherwise you’ll have to pay the standard entry charge!!!
